Huis Ten Bosch is a residential-style resort, roughly the same size as Monaco. It was built after a mediaeval 17th century Dutch town. Palace Huis Ten Bosch, built with special permission from the royal family, is a reproduction of the residence of Her Majesty the Queen of The Netherlands. This residential-style resort has canals running throughout, is surrounded by greenery, forests, amusements, shops, restaurants, five distinct hotels, a marina and residential area. The spacious 152-hectare resort is striving to become the top flower resort in the world and flowers in full bloom can be found all throughout the year. Some may visit museums and amusements, and still others can leisurely stroll or cycle along streets lined with flowers and greenery. If you choose to spend your time at Huis Ten Bosch, you are guaranteed to have a fabulous time.

What we will see

• Huis Ten Bosch theme park • Reproduction of the Huis Ten Bosch palace • Adventure park • Boat ride • Restaurant, cafés, ice-cream parlours

What we will do

• We leave the port behind us to enter a completely different world: the Huis Ten Bosch theme park named after the royal palace in the Netherlands and a replica of a 17th-century Dutch village. • We can immerse ourselves in a typically European atmosphere surrounded by picturesque canals, typical windmills, fantastic gardens and characteristic buildings. • We can take advantage of our time there to visit the majestic reproduction of the Huis Ten Bosch palace, a feather in the park’s cap, which houses an art gallery, Baroque gardens, a children's play area and collections of elegant porcelain, glass artefacts and musical instruments. • The adventure park area includes many rides for everyone, from inflatables and a large maze to rope climbing between the trees not to mention a thrilling boat ride for all the family among the canals and water pools. • If it is a good food break you are after, we are spoilt for choice with the park’s many restaurants, cafés and ice-cream parlours.

What you need to know

• We recommend that you book early because only a limited number of places are available. • Traffic jams are to be expected during tourist season. • We recommend having Japanese currency available as there are no exchange offices in the port.

English & other European tour guides are subject to availability.
