What we will do
- A coach takes us inland as far as the historic aqueduct of Greenock Cut, now a green area dedicated to nature treks.
- Once there, we go on a delightful walk along this engineering project made in the 1820s to supply the local factories with water.
- We walk along panoramic trails offering breathtaking views over the western coast of Scotland, over picturesque stone bridges and endless heaths as our gaze stretches from the mountains to the pools of water glistening in the sun.
- Our walk ends at the Greenock Cut Visitor Centre where refreshments can be obtained at the café or wander around the souvenir shop before heading back to the ship.
