Description

The Amalfi Coast awaits us in all its glory: let us discover it on a tour that will make us realise why it was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site! Let us get ready for an extraordinary journey through the typical Mediterranean maquis, among terraces covered in citrus groves and small villages perched on the hilltops. Then there are the bays, inlets and cliffs plunging into the Thyrrenian Sea which are alone enough to fill our memory cards! But our stomachs are also eager to be pleased: the local speciality is fish, which is prepared in many different ways. Try them all in the typical restaurant serving local cuisine which we have selected for you. After lunch, we make our way to Amalfi. The former Maritime Republic is now a renowned tourist destination where we enjoy a guided tour of the majestic Duomo, the Cathedral of Sant’Andrea, a building boasting various architectural styles from Romanesque to Rococo and Baroque with Arab-Byzantine traces.
