In a nutshell

GREEN PASS IS REQUIRED FOR THIS EXCURSION, PLEASE CARRY IT WITH YOU. IN CASE YOU DO NOT HAVE IT, YOU CAN OBTAIN IT ONBOARD.

Main stops
  • Farm visit with local food tasting and a welcome drink
  • Sirtaki show and activities for children

The programme
  • You're invited to an adventure on a real Greek farm or “agróktima”, near Olympia, where everyone young and old can discover the activities and true flavors of country life.
  • Accompanied by our guide, you'll meet the hosts and experience the famous Greek welcome. Here hospitality is called 'xenia' and it is sacred: at one time it was believed that guests were sent by Zeus.
  • The welcome is warm and fragrant: for adults there is the traditional toast with ouzo, the aniseed liqueur reserved for special occasions.
  • But the farm animals await: lambs, pheasants, peacocks, hares, and hens, and even ponies that the kids can feed.
  • Life in the country never stops: after a walk through the olive groves and orchards, the owners will teach your kids to make a Greek salad and souvlaki skewers.
  • The finale couldn't be more Greek: a sirtaki lesson and local food tasting, including zucchini, eggplant and the typical “loukanika” sausage flavored with orange peel. Your kids will become real “Zorbas”.
