Costa-fartyg återvänder till havet

Ett särskilt meddelande från vår Generaldirektör

Dear Guest,

D-Day has arrived... We are extremely happy to announce that Costa has set sail again this weekend. The Costa Smeralda set sail last Saturday from the port of Savona, to sail through beautiful Italian ports of call with her first passengers in months. She will then resume her itinerary between France (Marseille), Italy and Spain as soon as the health situation allows it.

For your next holiday, we have designed an offer based on local destinations in the Mediterranean, allowing us to offer you a real holiday experience. After the Costa Smeralda, the Costa Luminosa will set sail again from mid-May from Trieste, and then we will gradually resume with the Costa Firenze and Costa Deliziosa.

Our teams are fully mobilized to welcome you in optimal sanitary conditions thanks to our reinforced safety protocol, set up with the Italian health authorities, to allow you to book your next holiday in complete serenity and with advantageous flexibility conditions.

During this break, we have also taken the time to rethink the experience on board, with innovations such as longer stopovers in the destinations we visit and a new gastronomic offer.

Despite the crisis, our commitment to the planet, particularly in terms of reducing CO2 emissions, remains intact. We are continuing to invest in sustainable technologies and in the commissioning of 'new generation' ships, such as the Costa Toscana, which will join our fleet at the end of the year and which will also be fueled by liquefied natural gas (LNG), just like the Costa Smeralda.

This re-launch is a moment of intense emotion, which I wanted to share with you. All the teams join me in thanking you warmly for your loyalty and patience. We are ready to accompany you in your holiday plans and you can be sure that our crews are looking forward to seeing you on board very soon!

In the meantime, allow me to wish you all the best for the future and see you soon on the seas.

With my best regards,

Raffaele D'Ambrosio

General Director France and Vice President Northern Europe
